Moon Road and Silver Passage begin with the same impossible invitation: light laying a route across dark water. The city keeps its small lights while the moon opens a road no one can hold. In the weave, that route becomes touch—silver, slate, and interrupted harbor color. Together they speak of passage: presence becoming absence, one shore giving way to another, while ordinary life continues in the distance.

What the camera counted,
the weave lets drift.

The photograph records the marina's full geometry; the woven translation keeps only what the room needs—the dock as structure, boats as pale marks, and water as a deep field. It is less literal than Harbor Ledger and more architectural than Silver Passage, strongest displayed horizontally with the fringe opening at either side.

Metcalfe Art Traders brings together Jason and Helen's distinct photographic practices. Jason describes himself first as a father. Much of his work catalogs shared adventures—work trips, winter flights, harbors, roads, water, architecture, and the returns home—so the children inherit more than objects: a record of where the family went and what held their attention. Helen's practice moves through the Borderlands, Atlantic weather, people, and everyday places on its own terms. Mount Cristo Rey is one chapter within a wider El Paso and Borderlands archive.
