About the work
Jason Metcalfe has spent a life moving between art and business, but describes himself first as a father. During years spent in Boston for work, photographing the harbor, night water, and the built patterns around home became a way to understand distance and return. His practice moves across drone and ground photography, documentation, cataloging, traditional oil painting, framing, and woven translation. Metcalfe Art Traders grows from the same instinct: to create, preserve what matters, and help others build beauty around the places they inhabit.
